One of my areas of interest is Intentional Communities. There is one such community near here in Rutherford County, North Carolina, called 'Earthaven.' They have some beautiful buildings there, built using sustainable methods, and they offer tours. The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey unless you're a retired business executive, but it's well-worth checking out just for the architecture.
